It looks like the team behind Viber, a VoIP and messaging app, has been hard at work as of late. The company just announced its biggest update yet that goes beyond mobile, with the launch of Viber Desktop, a desktop app for PC and Mac that brings the entire Viber experience right to your computer.
First up, you can download Viber for your desktop right now at www.viber.com. You’ll need to have an active app on your mobile device to activate Viber Desktop with your mobile number, and you can start messaging, making video calls and VoIP calls to your friends who have Viber; you can also transfer calls between desktop and mobile with just the click of a button.
Viber also updated its iOS and Android app, which brings several new features like video messages, new stickers, last online status, enhanced photo experience and more.
