Understand The “ http:// ” and “ https://”

 

" HTTP  stand for HyperText Transport Protocol.

  so what mean by “s” ?

“ https “ mean Secure.

The website that we visit normally start with “ http:// “ this mean that we surfing at normal website that which are no safety precaution,if we enter any of personal detail like Identification card (IC) or Credit card, we are expose to Spyware or Theft Info.

If you come across wedsite that asked for your credit card / IC info, YOU must make sure you are at secure site (https://)  this can prevent the unexpected loss.
